well, when i went to pick my head up, i got a little peaved
that i had to fork over $50, but i guess thats not too bad for 8 new valves and 8 new valve guides, when i pulled the pan for inspection i found all my old valve seals, and my oil filter was completely clogged with little shavings :rivers:i inspected the rod and main bearings, they showed some signs of wear but runnable. no pits :beerchug:so i changed the oil and filter, started the motor, ran it about 5 minutes changed the filter again,. drove it up the roadand back changed the oil and filter one more time. then :smack:fan belt starts to squeal, :headscratch:i'm like, what now
, luckily i found it befor it could cause a problem,
but apparently the new water pump i got at O'Reilly's only a couple of months ago was bad
i did take this opportunity to install new 22R rockers and new oem toyota adjusters, and an underdrive starter
