Strategically, Sliders can be used to push your rear wheels into a different, more advantageous track. When you get up along side a boulder that is the same height as your sliders, just crank the wheels hard into the rock, and the truck will pivot about the rock as it slides around it on the slider. It's like having the line of a two point turn without having to backup
