Inboard springs and angled shocks would be very "tipsy" for a full body truck. I ran 2 different sets of Chevy springs on my '83. First set was a worn 3 leaf + overload pack. They were very worn and the flex was okay butnot what I was hoping for. My second set was a 2 leaf + overload pack off an '02. They had a great arch, they flexed awesome, and they road great on the street. My shackle angle was probably 45-55 degrees with a 7" shackle
I'd say before you move the spring hangers, check to see if you have a 3 or 4 leaf pack, and also check your shackle angle. That will also affect spring movement if it is too upright.
