the return line needs to be gravity flow, 
the one you show from the rear of the block should be pressure fed,  i dont have a laser block to look at but just use a braided steel line from any pressurised  oil port, usually 2 on the side with the oil filter, then run it behind the block over the bell and under the back of the head
