So I’m going to answer this question seeing how I got no response.
I started building a duel case setup and in the direction for the MC08 they talk about 2 length of remote shift rails for the crawl box if your using a  forward :pokinit: transmission but did not give the actual length  :hammer In the process of this build I came into some parts and had an extra hi/lo shift rod and wanted to make sure it was the right length before welding, and I know they talk about a 4.5 and 4 inch stand off for the 2 rods but throwing it on a ruler is easier then sticking it in the box and measuring out..so here you are. the longer rod(about 8.5”) is for 89 and older remote :pokinit: transmission and the short rod(about 7.75”) is for 90 to 95 remote shift transmission.
