It runs!
It actually runs really well. It will idle down as low as I can turn it, nice and smooth. The timing doesn't jump around the way it did with the old engine. I flushed all the coolant out of the heater core and filled and bled the coolant system with Toyota Red. It was easy except for the part where I divided by 2 to convert quarts to gallons and tried to figure out why I couldn't fit enough coolant into the engine
