I believe in asking people that use their winch.
I have had three winches in My wheeling days. Each one has gotten a work out at one time or another.
#1 Warn XD9000 it was a good winch used it on a Toyota 4x4 running 38.5s never had an issue pulling anything I hooked it to. If I thought it would be a hard pull for it. (pulling out a full size truck) I would use a snatch block.
#2 Warn 9.5Cti in the multi mount setup. same as above except I never had to use a snatch block and it was on the 4runner I have now.
This winch was overkill for what I needed. Competition level winch.
#3 Warn M8000 I have only used it a few times and It seems to Me to be the perfect size.
My only recommendation "stick with Warn winches" there's a reason people love them the most.  :twocents:
