Hello and welcome. I look forward to hearing the story of how you get this truck running!

My guess is that you have a broken or stripped wire to the pump. At least in my part of the country, rodents have been known to chew on wires, seldom with good results. Also, I have occasionally found wires that came out of their plugs with no apparent cause. As a last resort, run new wires to the fuel pump and see what happens.

Good luck; I hope to hear more about this in the future.

Lewis.

P.S. The Toyota factory service manual is your friend, much more so than a Haynes manual. I believe you can get one from manualslib.com
