A thought: you might also consider getting a Taig lathe and/or milling machine. I have both and they have been great for making small parts that no-one sells any more ... such as might be found on a 22r carb.

Alternatively, if you ever need some small machining job done, I have some tools already, in addition to a small aluminum foundry that used to be a propane tank. And you know how to send me a PM...

If you can afford it, you might also consider an old Atlas or South Bend bench lathe. Bigger=more useful=more $$$.
