Updates?

Updates prior to today : none. truck has been sitting in the yard with sub 20 miles on the new tires since October

updates post this morning : tires run really good in the deep red mud of AZ. Since they're only about 30 3/4 inches,  they ran pretty nice down the road with my choked up and worn out 22r. If you had a 22re or a 22r with more oomph, you'd be in for a nice ride.

I took a 15 mile ride out to a powerline road right after the rain. once I get past the drive line vibration @ 2,000 rpm 4th gear, the ride is really smooth and pretty quiet with a small hum from the tires. The tires don't fall into random gouges in the road like my bald A/Ts did.

I only went out on a 2 mile stretch of dirt, and I wasn't gung-ho on the throttle since people were archery hunting, but when the 1.5 - 2 feet deep sections of water popped up, the treadwrights powered through. there were also some spots where it was just plain of mud that I let her rip, but other than that I kept low RPMs. Slightly technical sections were also in the mix, and I found that the treadwrights stayed on top of the obstacle and didn't slide off.

To address the blowouts that I've heard of, from what I can tell these tires are for mini trucks like the hilux and 4runner. I've only read blowouts on 5,500 pound vehicles, all the way up to 6500 pounds AND towing. I called treadwright my self the day before I ordered these tires, and they told me the tires have a sub 1% failure rate.

Give me another month or two when I drive the truck again and I'll have another update. lol

also, I don't consider driving through mud as serious offroading considering a rental u-haul can do it, but it was around so I did it.
