Who slams there tuck into drive and reverse a ton of times, thinking that is going to be the fix?

There's a story about my grandpa from my mom's growing up years where he used a similar tactic, though at that point he was beyond trying to fix the problem and was simply raging against the machine.  He was working on their car in the street and at some point lost his temper (he was an awesome guy that in his younger years had quite a temper that I never really witnessed) and got into the car and proceeded to ram the cars parked in front and behind him multiple times.  The old cars probably handled the abuse with minimal damage...

For the record, I expected that this help project was going to go bad from the beginning...

1989 4Runner: Dual Ultimate (Inchworm front & Marlin 4.70 rear), Marlin Twin Stick, 1200-lb clutch, 4.88 R&P, Aussie Front, Detroit rear, 30-spline Longs, Long hub gears, ARP hub and knuckle studs & 35x12.50 Cooper STT PRO tires.  Marlin rear bumper & sliders.  FROR front bumper.  SAS with Alcan springs & Rancho 9000XL shocks.  Budbuilt Bolt-on traction bar.  Custom Interior Cage by Those Guys Rod and Customs.

Moab Tested & Rubicon Approved
