I tried it in the oven (assuming the oven = bbq) for 20-25 minutes and it didn't help at all. Also went over the mating surface with a fine file. I will check around for longer bolts to pull it on. With a press or a dead blow it seems like it'd be real hard to get all the holes lined up nice
