Is it a buzzz, or a whine?   buzz is ign. whine is alt.


Hey mikey, if your getting "stataitky" from yours ya mite want to be sure the ant. is not grounding out to the body. ok,ok yes the ant. should be grounded but not the part that goes to the radio. the grounded part go to the sheld  around the coax cable. and the small wire in the middle goes to the radio. so if at any point the radio part of the ant. tuches the body it will realy make a lot of "noise".
