RUST is where all the ones up here have gone. There are tons of them here at reasonable market prices but they are totally rusted to 
. I've seen some good deals on ones that won't pass the state safety inspecions. There was one last week locally, an 88 regular cab 22re 5 speed with only 130,000 miles for $500 cuz the frame rusted in half and it wouldnt pass inspection.
Maybe I should work out a deal with someone out west, you send me non rusted bodies and frames and I could ship out low mileage drivetrains!
thatd be a hell of a deal for a small time auto wrecking yard
