Most failures I see are due to customers wanting to save a few bucks on parts, then when they fail a year later they just cant seem to get a grasp on why.... well its a brand new part? why would it fail? . In most cases you get what you pay for but sometimes you are just paying for the name. I've always been a marlin fan, never purchased any TG parts, I've ran them just because they came on the rig i bought and guess what... Broken 3rd trip out... replaced with MC parts and I've had the SAME parts on 3 different rigs... still in great shape. I have seen a lot of TG parts fail prematurely, which is what happens when you outsource cheap labor/materials just to make some extra revenue. I don't care what company I purchase my parts from mostly, all I care about is the QUALITY of the products I'm investing my hard earned money into. I've had good luck with Marlins parts so I will continue to support them and what they stand for.
