Flowmasters and turbo mufflers are great sounding mufflers. You should give it a try. I used have them on some of my old cars. I used to have a stock exhaust setup with an exhaust cutout on my 3.0l truck. Sounds very mean and loud but has a ugly tone to it. My current exhaust setup now on my truck is a (glasspack shaped) walker resonator not a muffler, from an old skool v8 cars. Its a stock type system, sounds stock but with some extra grumble. Many mistaken it for a glasspack!
