Put a check valve in it. Been looking at some rear bumper brackets from daves. Anyone have any experience using them?

Not a whole lot, put bumpers and winch on, finish front axle, sliders, paint. Just drive it. I broke something this weekend was rolling first ans stuck it, broke loose grabbed 2nd and heard a ka tink. Now it has an awesome vibration. I'll have to see what gave.

Got a new master cylinder the other day when the old one locked up. That was Monday. This evening we played with it a little more.
Finally got the bumper on this evening. Cousin Brent lended a hand and wanted to play with his welder. going to make some extra bracing for it in the next few days and get it burnt on as well. But for cruising around this will do.

I like the "drill press". Wish I would have thought of that. I'll definitely be stealing that idea.

Got to work with what you got. I'm not a fan of hot drill shavings in my nose lol

Bumper doesn't look perfect for the truck but being that it came off a jeep tj I ant really complain for the good Ile price of free.

I got the control box mounted during lunch and almost done with wiring it. Just a few more wires to hook up and it will be ready to use.

Steam cleaned the bumper to get rid of the ghetto rhino liner and discovered it is powder coated with a nice flat black texture. Also got rid of the 40 series it was way too loud

That's been a dream of mine for about 10 years. I'm hoping withing the next 5 years to be able to do that. Not sure if I wild bring the 4runner or the black 1st gen. I'd cry I'd I brought the dd and flopped it. The others I could t care less about body damage. Once out 2nd Child is here in nov and all is well I plan to start saving up for a trip maybe mcr in a few years.

Laziness and no pictures of rear bumper after cleaning it down and painting. Did order some led headlight bulbs though. Hauled home a load of oak for the first few weeks of winter. Can't fit but so much on the porch. :smack:

I'm looking at paint colors now, looks like international brown is going to be the choice. Hopefully body work on the red bed, fenders, and hood can start soon. I suck at it but only 1 way to get better.

Bumper is doing it's job, I torched the old hitch off the other day, ans put led bulbs in the headlights. Just driving it daily, trying to find a place to mount an air filter box to make the intake a little less noisy. Also going to dig into the iac again to see if I can get it to high idle when engine is cold.

No real updates, rear pinion seal is leaking going to tear into that next week. Still looking for a 4.56 or 4.88 3rd so I can finish the front axle uo with longs and what not.
