New Chromoly Rear Axle Shafts!
« on: Apr 26, 2012, 09:51:18 PM »
We are now carrying Yukon's new Heavy Duty 4340 Chromoly Rear Axle Shafts! These axle shafts are dual heat treated for maximum strength and feature 30% stronger cold rolled splines.

The result is a full warranty against axle breakage for as long as you own your rig.

Applications include all 1986-2004 rear Pickup/4Runner/Tacoma rear ends, with or without ABS. This is possible thanks to Yukon's cut-to-length design. Yukon has used this design for many years on domestic applications and has finally incorporated it for Toyota's! Simply measure your old axles, cut the new axle to length using a chop saw, and then bevel the splines with a bench grinder. This process does not affect the axle's performance because the cut is beyond the side gear where no contact is made.

Yukon Heavy Duty 4340 cut-to-length axles are so reliable they are used in large diesel drag racing applications! Put this same performance to work for your Rock Crawling needs today!

We will publish the price and open the link next week Monday. Until then, feel free to hit the Notify button to receive an email update once we they are ready to go!

I forgot to post that applications include all 1986-2004 rear Pickup/4Runner/Tacoma rear ends, with or without ABS. :booya:

Edit: I also forgot to post information on the stronger cold rolled spline design.

Won't the heat from the chop saw affect the axle?

The area affected will not see any load, so it will have no affect on the performance of the axle shaft.

Trim-to-fit in four easy steps!

1) Measure the length of your stock axle
2) Cut
3) Bevel
4) Install!

As you can see, the final cut is very similar to a stock axle, and as mentioned above, the process does not affect the axle's performance because the cut is beyond the side gear where no contact is made.
