hi all, I believe I have an early form of advance adapter or marlin crawler adapter for an automatic transmission to a tcase but was wondering if anyone could help identify it.

I second the Early AA adaptor for prob a 350 chev (most likely)     im not sure about AA but ive seen some of the really early parts like this that did not have casting numbers....  may be the case
Those are some huge welds!

i dont think its for a chevy trans as they only have 4 bolts for the mounting and some other small features (currently have an AA th350 to toyota case adapter sitting next to me) That is an odd mounting area though

It was bolted behind an aisin warner automatic and has a tcase bolt pattern. Iirc it was a toyota 3spd but i dont see why someone would buy a aa adapter for an automatic when the adapter is pretty common.
