« on: Jan 16, 2005, 01:19:37 PM »
I went to Wally mart and bout 2 sets of 55watt fog lights. They were only 15$ a box. Comes with wiring harness and rocker switch. Great Deal aint it! :D  Im going to place 2 in the middle of the truck tucked up and 2 in the front wheel wells. Ill take more pictures when i get them installed.

I put mine (same ones) in between the front bumper and body right in between that little space facing down in front of the front tires and then put the other 2 on the first body mount in the front that is behid the front tires. It lights everything up pretty good. I could take some pics if you want. Only thing that might make a difference is that I have a 3 inch body lift... Oh some advice for you, if you go through water puddles alot then you might want to water proof the lenses because on mine it got water inside of it and then it cracked the glass. Kinda lame...

I was just looking for places to mount them and i was also thinking about the body mount. I also have a 3inch body lift too. i also bought some clear silicone to waterproof them around the lense. Take some pics for me i would really appreciate it.

Also did you use the wires it came with because i want to wire all 4 to one switch and use a relay i bought.

OK I just took some pics. They are at night but I think they will work. Actually mine are a little bit different. Not completely the same...

I used the wire harness that came with it and I used the 2 switches. Just if I want 1 set On I can do it that way.

I just took some pictures of the lights on at night. But it got dark so i only mounted the front lights. Tomarrow i will put the rears on. I used a 30amp relay so i can run all 4 lights on one switch. I cant post the pictures yet because my camera battery just died.

I used some Clear RTV silicon for weather proofing to seal the lights from water getting in.
The lights are very bright, im surprised and hey for 15$ and a 3year warrenty it was well worth the money. :yesnod:

Yeah same here. Mine were 20 and as you can see in the pic with the front one off, it is cracked. What im going to try to do is send it in and say that the light broke for no reason at all. I might use some z-poxy glue around it but then I wouldnt be able to get it off so Im not sure. I might just go get some of that RTV Silicon glue like you got.

I figured the same thing, they are a good deal for their money. I figured why put some $100 KC Lights underneath when they have the risk of breaking. They are half the watts but they are really bright. My bro also got some of the "Pro Burner" lights but they are smaller then yours but they are incredable bright.

I just put 4 tractor lights under the 90 a couple nights ago.  I still need to remount one of them beings you can see the lens when its on.  I hate seeing the lights, I just like seeing the ground etc.  I think it pretty tacky when its obvious where they are.  Ill post up pics when I get the rest of them mounted.
