r150f stuck in reverse, shifter in neutral...
« on: Feb 17, 2009, 09:04:47 AM »
Removed the Reverse Back Up Light Switch to attempt the fix Marlin described for other trans (e.g., w56) which says to slide the rail rearward.  The r150f rail appears that it would need to move forward, if this approach is applicable to the r150f.  Tried to slide it forward, but no movement.  Applied pretty good pressure with a small screwdriver (stopped short of breaking the screwdriver).  Is this trick applicable for getting the r150f trans out of reverse?

so the reverse light swith is the plug on the drivers side of the tranny behind the intermediate plate. and by moving it backward it whill allow the "shifter seat" on the tranny to slide forward?
