I just heard that in the CA constitution it states CA citizens can fish without a license. It's an OLD law.
Anyone know anything about this?
A friend showed me this a few weeks ago, and as it reads, you do seem to have the right to fish without having to have a license. Of course, to attempt this and take it to court will cost you a ton of money and time, the outcome likely depending on the judge's interpretation.
But the dfg can kiss my
. They all too often say fees for something (read 5 pig tags for $8 went up to 1 tag for $15) will go toward special projects, collect the fees and never actually do anything about it. I went back and forth with the dude in charge of the pig program, and he could not post any real evidence of the funds being used to improve public land pig hunting as they were supposed to.
