MUD!! hehehee

Saturday: Mostly cloudy with showers mixing with light snow late... highs in the upper 40s.

Sunday: Mostly cloudy with light snow and rain... highs in the upper 30s.

take  a  rain coat :rain:

I might as well stay home. It has been in the 40s and nice up here. If it gets that crappy I may just get a damn motel room and set up camp at the local bar.

Do you have a updated forecast for the weekend?

Ive got a bunch of pics so this may take a while to get them all on here.

The guy in the tan colored hat was the owner of the park. Him and his wife are the friendliest people and I was pleasently supprised to find out we would be wheeling with them. He is an ex pro rockcrawler and a great guy.

Ok ok I just made it home and have not slept yet once again. This trip was quite an adventure. I met so many great people and had an amazing time. I wish more of you women didn't bail out. Oh well you missed out. I almost feel like giving a complete recap of events but I am afraid they may incriminate me. But here goes.

Thurs night 11:00 PM We left town in Minnesota and started our 12 hour drive to Flat Nasty with my pull rig, trailer and tow rig stuffed with way more gear than anybody can imagine. I think OldSkool has pictures from when we rolled up at the camp ground.

Friday morning- After driving all night we waited anxiously for someplace to open up so we could eat. We found a Hardees open around 5 or 6 am and ate breakfast for dinner. In Jefferson city Missouri after about 9 or 10 hours the sun finally came up. The drive was getting real long at this point and I was on the verge of falling asleep at the wheel so like any genius would do we opened up the cooler and treated ourselves to our favorite beverages for the remaining two hours to ensure we would be at the top of our game. We rolled up to the park at 9:30 am and met Dirtoyboy and I think Eazy at the gate. With the aid of a few more beers we had camp all set up and hit a few trails. I overheated almost imediately so we broke off from DTB and Oldskool to remove the thermostat. It helped but was still getting real hot. After sitting around camp we decided to run a few close by extreme trails by ourselves until the others showed up. I managed to destroy my right front brakeline and snap it off in the caliper when we slid sideways on a very step greasy ass hillclimb wedging a 4 inch tree in between my tire and leaf spring. That tree was the only thing holding us from rolling over as we were on three wheels pointing sideways on the trail see sawing back and forth in the wind with no brakes. Getting out of that was interesting I wish that was on video. After replacing the caliper and line with spare parts that I brought the group went back out on a pretty wicked trail. I led the way and came to a little rock that looked fun to climb. I proceeded to give it a little gas to bump over the rock and smash the new passenger door glass and destroy the inner mechanism so the door would not close. Later the door closed and would not open making my passsenger very irritated since he now had to Dukes of Hazzard himself into the truck if he wanted in or out.

Later that day we met up with Ron the park owner and a few of his buddies for a trail ride. The owner of Marko customs led the way in his very cool Jeep. He rolled it over real slow with Doctor the dog riding shot gun. Both were fine. The dog has been along for many rollovers apparantly. After I winch the Jeep back on all four tires I parked my truck out of the way. I didn't get 10 feet away when Oldskool says "Hey dude your rig is rolling away." Shocked I ran for the truck which was not moving fast at all at this point. I get the door open and one foot in as the truck takes off down the steep as hill like a rocket with me hanging out the side trying to pump the brakes up enough to stop the truck. After mowing down a few trees with my back I get the truck stopped and unload my pants. It was quite a ride. I'm sure the others will chime in about that. This is getting long so I will toss up a few photos. I know there are a ton of good pictures that DTB and Oldskool took also. I forgot my camera the first day so I didn't get much.

The trails are truly gnarly. There is fun stuff to climb everywhere and plenty of technical things that can get pretty hairy.

Thanks for the props but rember I was following you. I was able to read the terrain and pick an easier line after watching you make the hard spots look easy.

Sitting aroud that fire in the rain wasn't too bad! Kinda help that it was a big fire! Oh and the wheeling videos were nice. Who would of ever thought to bring everything you had just for a campout.

Yeah it was quite nice sitting on the couch and carpet watching DVDs underneath the canopy in the rain.

He comes by his screen name honestly.

At Hannibal Rocks yesterday the hub studs grenaded and I blew the hubs off both sides. The passenger side blew up in the morning. Everybody sat on the couch while we cooked hot dogs and I fixed my rig. Then the drivers side hub blew off later in the afternoon and ended our day.
That runner was mean as shell.

The hill the 4Runner is trying to go up is "Get it Billy." It has never been done in its current condition. It costs 5$ to try but if you get it you get about $3000 worth of cash and parts. DTS, Ramsey, Staun and a whole other pile of companies donated parts to the "bounty hill." You can try it without paying but if you make it you don't get anything. That hill is wicked. That 4Runner is on 44s and they look small compared to the holes and rocks on the hill. All the rocks below the big ones have been shot out from the top by high horsepower rigs madly trying conquer the obstacle.

This trail really messed me up for a while. I took a bad line in and struggled. Then gittinit takes the high line and drives right through without spinning a tire  :shake:

That was a pretty wild obistacle.  My trip was kinda weird becouse I showed up at the park and had to pump gas into the tow rig from the toy. Then just as we were finishing the last trail I couldn't get gas to the pickup in my sideways mounted tank. I had to pull the air filter and alwaysebroken sprayed some bead repair spray(starting fluid) into the carb till i got off the sidehill. Here are some pics of me just after arriving saturday morning.

And the trusty ole funnel. MMMMM GASOLINE wahoooo :o

Thats funny. You got some great photos. I wish my camera didn't suck and make all my stuff blurry.
If you still have control you aren't going fast enough
