Tahoe local, seeing if anybody is putting together a Rubicon run before the weather hits? Been dying to get out, and it would be nice to meet some fellow wheelers!

better hurry, saw a weather report saying snow storm sunday night/monday morning with snow level at 5000FT

I was about to say that I'm pretty sure the weather is already turning up there. It was freezing cold at night back in early September.

yeah i went hunting up near there two weekends ago and it was 38 at 5am and did not get past 45 until about 11. it was overcast but still pretty cold.

hopefully we get some good winter this year in the sierras
