Edit: got a grille and some bumper supports I can modify to fit. All I now need is the hood support bracket that runs from the hood latch to the valance.

Is it the same one you posted on the 10th on pirate? That one is a 2wd grille and is not what I'm looking for. If you have a good 4wd grille I would be interested.

Lemme see what I can find... the part that attaches to the hood latch at the top and goes down to the valance, hidden mostly behind the grille in this shot, circled in yellow

sorry i was slacking too are you the original poster asking me for this part or was there someone else asking before you? the 81 had this part but it was booger welded to the hood latch so when i get this pulled i can respond, looks like you found it

I was planning on buying the truck last year but lawyer bills took prescidence and now i've got the truck dismantled so lmk if you need any first gen parts
