So awhile back I was out at the dunes with some friends just crusin around in our rigs not doing anything to crazy. And my temp gauge stopped working I thought the motor had over heated and burnt something like that but I was wrong engine was fine the next day I tore my dash apart and found that the copper lines that lead to the gauge on the back of the cluster were all burnt up. So I've found a used cluster for sale that I might buy or I'm hoping there is an Easier way to do it? Or what could have caused that part to burn up?? Any ideas would help cause I'm no electrtion and I don't want to replace the part only to have it burn up again cause I didn't solve the problem. Thanks for the help in advance
My rig is a 1993 Toyota pickup 22re electronic gauges no cables. ( I guess that means sr5?? Not sure about that either??) if you have questions please let me know and I'll be happy to answer them
