Topic: front windshield on 90 pickup

i pulled the chrome trim from around the front windshield and removed the glass.  i dont want to reuse the chrome.  is there and alternitive to this trim?  i cannot find a replacement for this.

Its a lock strip. I have the same problem with my land cruiser.  There is a guy on IH8MUD in the 60 series section named
REEVESCI.  He has lock strip for the land cruisers but I don't know if it is the same size. 
Have you tried a glass shop?  They should be able to have a replacement or find it.

Any windshield installer will have and use a universal rubber moulding. This will give you an idea of what its like, I know nothing about the company though http://www.ecvv.com/product/1000052520.html
