What sensor is this???
« on: Dec 26, 2014, 01:42:56 PM »
I have a 1987 turbo pickup and I have a sensor on top near the thermostat. It is white and has become disconnected. Is this the temperature sending unit? I am not getting a temperature reading on my gauge.  :dunno:

I have pictures here

It's the temp sensor for the ECU.

The gauge sensor is buried in the intake manifold next to the head.     The gauge sensor has a spade connector

It is the AC over heat sensor. It is not neeeded. Unless you have AC. The ECU temp sensor is the one next to the cold start under the thermostate in the intake.

The dash sensor is in between the 2 and 3 runner on the intake.
