'99 TACOMA E-LOCKER QUANDARY
« on: Dec 05, 2014, 02:26:07 PM »
So there are 3 switches on the OE T-case; 4x4, Low Range, and Neutral.  I am using an old gear box with one switch; 4x4 for the dash light.  What is the best way to wire up these OE connectors so that the dash light and my E-Locker still work correctly?  I know that you can just ground the Gray wire to get the E-Locker to work in Hi or Lo, but I just want the light to come on when I am in 4X mode.  Any takers?  Thanks

I swapped a lefty into my taco and here how i got my ADD "hub" to work without using the tcase switch.  I first did the gray wire mod for the locker, all indicators on the dash work for that.  As for the ADD and 4wd dash light switch, all i did was cut the harness off the 4wd indicator switch that's on the pax side of the tacse and put a two way switch in there that i mounted on the dash.  ADD works and the factory 4wd light worked.  I also remember reading that the gear drive switches can be wired into the taco factory 4wd wiring.
2002 taco ext cab trd, 3.4 5spd.  255/58/16, OME 882s, all pro bumpers f/r, Inchworm front plate, crawler mounted with an mc07 XD to an inchworm lefty, marlin 4.7 gears, marlin 30spline output, RAD designs triple sticks.  Fj 80FF rear with a spartan locker.
