I also found that said stems air down and up significantly faster than my prior ones.

In other news I've ordered my 25mm upgrade, front range offroad bracket, new calipers, rotors, and seals. My neighbor machined down my ifs hubs for me. So pretty close to tearing into my front axles to do some much needed upgrades.

I'm assuming that the Equal doesn't come out when airing down?  I wonder how much a person might hear/feel it on a more passenger style tire.  I'm sure you couldn't hear rocks in your tires and mine are not too far behind.

Hopefully, you'll have the steering issue isolated/resolved before tearing into the knuckles again so that you don't add any additional variables into the mix.

They are already a variable as the problem arose after installing knuckle studs.

Does the upgrade replace the ARP studs with bolts?

No it replaces the bottom studs with bolts. Those are not part of arp upgrade.

Until you completely resolve the steering issue I would agree that the knuckles are still on the list of suspects, though I'd be surprised if they were the cause, but what you don't want to do is resolve the steering issue and not realize it because the upgrade created a similar symptom in a different component.  Nobody expects upgrades to not go well and the 25mm is a great upgrade, but if I were you I'd at least get the steering box isolated and see where you're at before tearing into the knuckles again.  The timing of things may make this the natural way of doing things anyways.

Plenty of people running atf. Toyota gear boxes require it or else they take a dump.

have you changed out your box before, I was just reading in the 3rz knowledge, that you where flushing power steering fluid out, and putting atf in. maybe seals are bad if you havent

Yes there was indeed some ps fluid in there before. I think the box is the likely problem too.

Yeah that'll be a project for another time. If the box is the problem I'll be ordering a psc replacement.

Never heard of any restrictor plate on the box that needs drilling out. I've heard of it on the pump?

Well I've had a very sporadic issue of going to start my truck and nothing happening. First it was every 3-6 months. It has become more and more frequent in the last 6 months and finally came to a head the last few days. The first was last Friday when I missed work due to it. Then yesterday as I went to leave work it was dead again. Usually it would simply be a matter of giving it 20-30 minutes and then it would start (dead spot on the starter). However this last time that didn't work and I had to have a buddy throw a tow strap on his truck and tow me in neutral then throw the truck in gear and turn the ignition on to pop start the truck. So I decided enough was enough and went and sprung for a new starter.

It is a super common issue. Tapping the starter with a hammer will usually work as well

That never worked to fix the issue. The only thing that was working was time. Like I said that stopped working too though.

This looks to be essentially identical to the 2014 one I found earlier today.  They must mostly just change the adds.
