So SqWADoosh foolishly left some third members at my house, So I pilled the side gears. Wonder if he will notice? This first diff has bad bearings.
I advise against the backing plate eliminators.i did that to mine and the damn brakes squeal and squeak and drive me nuts! Next time i pull the rotors im putting mine back on.just my .02
Little rocks and sand or mud get in there.pisses me off!
I like to trim the stock backing plates, leaving the tab that holds the brake line. I've never had an issue running multiple trucks that way for years. Those RCV's sure look good. I bought my current Longfields about 9 months before the whole TG thing went down, but Ive been tempted to buy some RCV's just for the nice '' C' ya mister '' tribute to Bobby
i got rid of my backing plates 6 years ago and have never had any issues.Like Logan said, nice pile o'parts BBP send me your elocker, my front axle is still stripped while I negotiate with the missus for an ARB, so I guess I can settle for an ELocker
x2 i always cut the stock backing plates to make "eliminators" i have never had an issue either.
Even after gettin her all muddy?
