That's about where it's at right now.  They're very tight lipped, won't give any solid details.  Sounds like end of summer/winter or so

I have had the best luck with BFG and Toyo tires for all around tires. For more off-road specific I love Irok and TSL.

Ever since going with Pro Comp MT2 I haven't looked back. Incredible tire that you can get buy 3 get 1 free quarterly through 4wd.com and 4WP. Mounted 3 different sets to quality bead locks with no need for any balancing of any kind. Drive 70 mph down the road with zero vibes. That and they hook up like you wouldn't believe. Love these tires.

ran several over the years.
bfg at1
swamper sx
mtr pre kevlar
bfg km2

ran the ats till way past bald. were a good tire with everything i threw at it.
the sx were great in mud and rock. they are a heavy beast and starting and stopping on pavement was sometimes a pucker factor. they werent the best in sand they were wide and deep treads.
mtr i got from bigmike and drove them way past bald. they were a great tire.
i recently put on the km2. truck needs work but i did flex up on a large rock(measuring fer shocks) on the edge of my driveway and drove it around the block. time will tell.

my dd f250 has cooper discoverer atp
wifes subaru has falken wildpeak at trail

If I ran my tires "way past bald"... my pucker factor would be DEFCON 1  :yikes: :gap:

I have seen Toyo Open Country MTs outperform just about everything in snow.  A few years ago gotrocks had the pleasure of towing me up a hill with his 4Runner on 37s that nobody else seemed to be able to climb that snowy day.  There was a lot of tires represented and everyone else was pulling the winch except me because I had my own tow rig with gotrocks.  He climbed the hill on all three possible lines and then pulled me up the easiest line.  Nobody else was moving without a winch.  It was almost unbelievable.  He did quite a bit of snow wheeling and loved the Toyos.

Running Toyo Open Country MTs myself (15x14.50 15 ) and thinking of going with something with a little bit more height and a little more grip without going with Maxxis creepy crawlers or something on the stickies tire realm. I have to agree they perform awesome both on and off-road being my rig is street legal. Just lacking that extra grip on ledges and smoother slick rock situations.
Someday I'll have an 85 Yota pickup like Marty Mcfly but in Crawler mode !!!

It’s really hard to maintain an argument when it takes you nearly five years to respond!  I’m currently running Cooper STT Pros and they seem to do great.
