Spark plug analysis
« on: Oct 23, 2014, 12:43:24 PM »
Here's my spark plugs after driving on my 22r with weber 32/36 and jetted for 6000 ft.

Anyone want to share their knowledge about what they look like? As far as I believe they look alright but I'm no expert on it.

#1 is front cylinder and then 2, 3, 4 in order from front to back cylinders. #4 being closest to firewall.

#1 one looks normal, but it hard to tell, #4 looks oily or has a lot of soot, cant really see tip and ground to see if there are losing shape, also is there rust at base of ceramic, this is caused by over tightening, also what I like to do is put vertical line on ceramic where ground is for indexing spark plug toward center of exhaust valve
