guages not working properly
« on: Jul 16, 2014, 04:16:30 PM »
My fuel guage will work for a little bit then drop down to empty. After awhile it will go back up same as the temp gauge. Its a non-sr5 guage cluster.
Any ideas or what wires to check. I see a black and white one and green one and yellow one?
Right underneath the columnum. It sucks I spent 130 on it at a mechanic place and still dosent work right! .. He also told me the sr5 guage cluster I brought him to try to put that in said it wont go in to hard to do etce etc. uh? I thought it would work right?
Mine is a 85' truck with auto
Also am thinking of having to take somewhere else unless I can fix it or does anyone have any pics with custom auto guages put in the dash?

Try removing the screws on the back side of the panel and cleaning them to get a good connection
