I like the reduced size of the lower cap on the 25mm kit but the eliminator kit looks good too.

I ran trunion elim kit for almost 2 years on trail rig that saw minimal street miles. Maybe 10 wheeling trips. Knocked knuckle ball off housing as I slid into a tree at top of 5th gear 2.28 double low.   :shakehead:

They work great. What hy-steer arms do you have?

I prefer Marlins 25mm bearings.

They work good. I had to sleeve them to use my Marlin steering arms though. I think either option is worth the money, trunion failure on the trail sucks and I' had it happen twice before switching.

I have eliminators on mine since I already had TG arms. I have greased them once since I installed them. I consider my runner as a daily but I swap between it and a tacoma. For the first 100 miles or so the return to center after a turn needed a little help. But I have 3-400 miles on it now and it drives normal. I work 1/4 mile away so low miles... I was hesitant to use bushings at first but heard good things from a forum I believe Dave's offroad used them and they shown no wear after a few k miles. IMHO if u have TG arms use the eliminators, they work with no surprises. If you have marlin arms use the 25mm they look awsome and I would only expect a quality part if he has his name on it.

The reason I asked what arms you have is most of the arms have a one inch press in pin, the TG are .75. On the other arms you have to make a sleeve for them to work. Since you have TG arms you are golden.

Would they hold up to dd usage?

Dave at Dave's Offroad Performance has been running them on a DD for a few years now without any problems. He drives a very windy road from Georgetown to Placerville. Keep them greased and you should have no problems as long as the pre-load is set right.

Setting the pre-load on mine was frustrating.  After 1.5 yrs I'm still happy with them and would do it again.
