I Need a 1986 W56-B Bellhousing
« on: Jun 16, 2014, 06:31:43 PM »
Need I say more? We replaced the clutch on my buddies 86 4Runner and found cracks in the bellhousing, does anyone have one they want to part with? Let me know how much you want and I'll relay it to my friend.

Make sure they are cracks and not casting marks. Seen this many times where people think they are cracked, when it is actually just part of the casting in the aluminum.

I wish, these are the real deal. Truck was stolen once and they tried to remove either the motor and/or trans, they had left the bolts loose he didn't realize it  until it started to come apart. I told him he needed to check it thoroughly but he just got in an continued to drive it that way.

i was gonna say, you can tig weld it but not if the extent of damage was that bad.

Yeah I don't know if they are the same, but I did have someone locally email me that he has one for him.

I believe my friend is working out getting one from toyrunner, they actually live pretty close to one another.
