Chevy Luv Rear End anyone?
« on: Feb 19, 2014, 07:57:06 PM »
I have a buddy with an '81 chevy luv diesel with a bad ring and pinion.  I am looking for a third member for him. They drop out just like Toyota thirds.  He has a 3.73 ratio.

PM me if anybody has one or can get a hold of one at a yard in your area.

Isuzu may be the same, just depends on what Chevy changed out when they got them.

Yeah it is an Isuzu rear end.  The trooper has the same basic stuff but they are way lower geared according to what I found.  A third from a similar vintage Isuzu PUP would probably work.
