Topic: 86/84 Parking brake setup.

Can you guys post up a pic of your rear axle parking brake components from a 86 or comparable axle.

I just got a and 84 truck, the guy I bought it from swapped in an 86 rear from a 4runner and never hooked up or adapted the parking brake cables/linkage etc.

I just want to compare and see what I have and what I need to get this thing operable again.

Too dark for pictures right now. Where the cable that is shielded splits, mount that to the bracket on top, passenger side of the 3rd member, the cables with the forked ends attach to the arms between the top of your spring and the brakes. You will need pins to set them with cotter pins to hold those pins in place.
You should be able to get a picture on google images also.
