01 taco crawler t-case search...stock case sr5/trd
« on: Oct 09, 2013, 06:00:39 PM »
I bought an 01 Taco TRD built with a Marlin doubler kit. Still uses stock case in rear. Guy that built it had issues snapping rear driveshafts so he upgraded. Looks like the output shaft of the transfer case is now the weak link. I am having issues locating another case. The one I have has a male input shaft where all the ones I found are female. I messaged him thru Hard Line Crawlers and he said that he replaced one also but did not have the issues locating one like I have had. Only info I know right now is 01-04 Tacoma with auto trans and vacuum disconnect. Does have the push button 4wd also. I do not care to have the push button and standard shift. Just need one with the male shaft so I can get rollin again, unless you guys have other options for me. I would greatly appreciate it.  :hammerhead:  :dunno:

I have an extra case from an '01-'04 4 runner if you are interested.  Still has the 23 spline connector on the input shaft too.
