Hey Big Mike!  We use SMF with a Calendar as well and I don't see the ability to actually add an event to the calendar.  It was all filled up with birthdays anyways so I'm not sure anyone could actually see separate events on it?  skool me!

This is too cool. You guys put these on every month or what? Any in November? Have some time off then and would like to head that way if you have anything going on...

Thanks,

BGE

Hey BGE- nope this is a once a year event, held every year during the last weekend in September.  TLCA is our local club's parent organization that offers some insurance and other organizational assistance as well as a distribution means through their Toyota Trails magazine.

We do have club runs that vary throughout the year, mainly in Oregon, but also a few club members will attend other TLCA events like Cruise Moab in May or Rubithon in June (Marlin is usually on this run as well!).

Best way to keep up locally is to go to the forums on our web page- www.cascadecruisers.com and check the events forum every month or so.  November is usually +/- the time snow runs startup.  Early Dec is a regular Xmas tree run, we have other snow runs through February, then a SOLV cleanup around March-April in Tillamook State Forest OHV area (this year we also did a SOLV cleanup at the coast on a beautiful sunny spring day).   Summer is work parties on OHV trails and a multi-day camp/expedition type run for members.  Guests are generally welcomed along, and we try to keep runs family friendly.

Let us know when you want to come up and with enough lead time I'd guess we'll have people up for taking you somewhere out in the forests to look around and wheel.  I am biased but I think we have some nice forests in the mountains, not as dramatic as what I've seen throughout the Sierras but nice in their way.

Additionally we have sister clubs in Jefferson State Cruisers and Central Oregon Cruisers that are based on social ties and co-mingling at our events (JSC does McGrew Trail Ride at the end of July on the OR/CA border). So there are a few options to do things depending on timing and interest.  JSC has club forums on ih8mud.com, as does Central I think.
