Question about the Icon Stage 2 with Alum UCA's
« on: Aug 31, 2013, 11:11:29 AM »
So I have an 07' FJ with the Icon Stage 2 with the Alum UCA's.

I love love love the ride, and off road ability of this kit.

BY FAR one of the best kits I have ever owned (well aside from my Marlin kit on my Crawler!)

I would have installed it myself but I had limited time so I had 4 wheel parts install it for me and they did a great job.

Problem is that the Alum. UCA have the dust cap that can be taken off so you can inspect the ball joints.

I just went to take them off and the problem is one of the hex bolts (that holds the duct cap on) is broken off? So I guess I need to get an extractor and get the rem. piece out of there! FML! It was installed over a year ago so I know what 4WP will say.

Anyone have any tricks for extracting a small bolt like this?
