Topic: has anyone modified a marlin truck bumper to fit a 4runner?

Hey guys I have a marlin rear bumper from my 84 toyota hilux and I am trying to put it on my 87 4runner. The brackets fit fine but the actual bumper wont line up. Has anyone had any luck with this or any ideas??

The runner tail gate needs more room to function then a pu gate.
