This National OHV Recreation Area amendment pushed by Representative Paul Cook...Nobody expected it to go to vote this soon in the House...we thought we were about 10 days out on that one before moving on to the Senate.

The whole calendar got bumped up...our Amendment PASSED the house!

Next step? The Senate, which is controlled by Democrats and the entire reason we are doing the fundraiser to pay the professional lobbyists.

This morning's news is an awesome accomplishment and could not have been done without the support of so many of our land use warriors, plus the work and donations of the OHV community. Most of all, the politicians that were willing to put their asses on the line for us. Buck McKeon, Paul Cook, Jim Bartlett, and more...

What does this all mean? It means we are in the hotseat. This is it, win NOW in the Senate or begin again with incredibly low odds of success on the second try. If we do not present our side in the perfect way, we will be trampled by the Democrats. This CAN be done, but the only way we can do it is to use the political system in the manner in which it actually works...by using lobbyists that cost $$$$.

That fundraiser is CRITICAL. This is not the time to hold back as truly, it's a now or never kind of thing. It is a huge thing to pass the house...let's not **** this up and lose in the senate because we didn't dig deep enough in regards to our donation drive.
