looking for a table saw
« on: Apr 24, 2013, 04:10:38 PM »
Can you guys help me out?

Looking for a GOOD table saw.
Now, I do have some strict criteria, I don't want junk, I need to get it from Amazon.com, I have a budget of $350 shipped.
I am a prime member if that allows me to get something of higher cost due to the free shipping with that.
I'm not looking for contractor grade, just something that will be good and reliable for house projects.
Looking at these 2 in particular, but feel free to post other recommendations that fit my criteria

Either one would be ok once you setup up a proper table for one.  The portable job site saws leave a lot to be desired when it comes to working area.

If you are only limited to Amazon for the free shipping, you might consider buying used.  You can usually find them on Craigslist for under $100, the one I picked up for my brother-in-law a few yrs ago had never been used.

I would say neither. For your budget, you can get a nice contractor saw from craigslist. Those little benchtop saw are going to just frustrate you IMO.

What is your intended use?
