Topic: Throttle sticks while under load in low low

My throttle sticks in my 81 Toyota in low low while under a load. If i go into a hill climb at idle its stuck at idle and will not let me push the go pedel till i reach the top or push the clutch in. If i start climbing at half throttle it will stick there till i reach the top or push the clutch in. I am going crazy! I have new motor mounts and they dont look torn. Any help would be great. By the way the truck has the stock 22r.

I'd hafta say the motor mounts, took out your throttle cable where it passes through the firewall. Set your hand brake, have a buddy shift forward/reverse and feather the clutch and watch the engine rock. If you have a bad motor mount you can see the engine climb and twist. The throttle cable housing will crack and bind at the firewall. Last i needed one, cable is still available from Toyota dealer.

Yea I think it was the mounts flexing too much. I took them off ant they where not torn so I welded the mount caps to the frame with chain and I have my go pedal back. Thanks for the help.
