R151F to HF2AV
« on: Feb 20, 2013, 12:29:58 PM »
Hey Gang,

After a MEGA-exhaustive search, it seems that the h151F/a442 and the r151f share the same bolt patterns, I will have to use the a442 bellhousing, but no big deal.  The big question, that only the most elite LC folk may know is:  What is the output shaft spline count on a a442 tranny? (The r151f is 23, but the fj70's apparently mated r151f's to hf2av transfers...)  Would I be able to do this swapping input shafts???  Any help would be Awesome!

Amendment: It is an 1992 FJ80 Project, so this would be a440f correct?  If anyone knows the spline count and approximate diameter of the a440f shaft to the transfer case, I would be most grateful!
