Many cities have foreign engine import shops that ship them across to US with low miles and are around I think 1500 give or take a couple hundred.
Everyone starts off in life crawling but lots of us grow up and still are crawling around everywhere

:muscles: I will build one to stock specs for 1500, you must provide a good coreto avoid a helacious core charge. if you want modified it may cost more, don't recall what shipping is to CA.

LC engineering has inferior pistons, avoid using them no matter what you do and they will not honor thier warranty 75% of the time

Don't waste your time trying to get a 22r/re from a Jap importer, they didn't have them over there, you'll either get a 20r or 21ru which is 2000cc and a gutless wonder.  A guy I sorta know that owns a yard just picked up an 85 with around 80,000mi and wants $850 for the engine, said it runs great.  In nor cal area, if you're interested I can get you his number,      Nate
