Selling My Tow Rig! Subaru BRZ on the Way!
« on: Nov 23, 2012, 10:34:45 AM »
Just got back from the dealership and put a deposit down on a factory order 2013 Subaru BRZ in WR Blue! Getting rid of my 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 for it! Only thing is I wont be able to get it until February after I get off my ship. Beyond excited to get this car.

PM me if your interested in the truck!

That looks familiar, wonder how long before they step up with the new Celica/Supra's.

Even with that you still can't beat that Subaru All-Wheel-Drive

FR-S/86/BRZ, are all the same car.

Its not winning any landspeed records or setting any new lap records at the ring but its a great DD and also still fun on the weekends.

It will, it will, just give them some time. I see a WRXi upgrade in its future.

Actually after looking a bit.  not that i could afford one but was interested, i like the front of the BRZ better, even though its a tiny bit more expensive the subaru comes with some things stock that the FRS doesnt (HID's, NAV) and has better upfit options that the scion doesnt.  and the net says due to different bushings in the rear of the subi they seem to understeer more, So FRS wins there...

All in all, i would drive both, but even with the drawback of "understeer" i would take the BRZ too lol

I have a 85 Celica Supra. I am a big fan of small, RWD cars. I was surprised they only went with a 4 cylinder, but the reviews I have read said it has a great power to weight ratio. Should be great on gas too. I like them, I am kind of wondering where they will go with it. I would like to see it evolve into a new Supra myself, honestly it pretty much is aside from the 4 cylinder engine.

Looking forward to hearing your opinions, not too many people have them yet. I have only seen one driving around so far. It was the Suby not the Scion.

When I first heard about this union it was supposed to be the rebirth of the Celica/Supra but since it is now a Scion that's where Toyota sends projects that they are afraid to put under the Toyota banner.
