I know a few people who still do not have sliders after years of knowing them

I ran 1 simple trail, no damage, followed by Claw Hammer at Johnson Valley. Took a small dent to the driver's rocker panel and installed Marlin sliders the following week

That was enough for me without sliders

Never ran without sliders, I like sliding on rocks to much lol

About as soon as I started really wheeling decent stuff I made a set of solid sliders. I had several sets old "nerf bars" back in the day, all of which got destroyed. I like to pivot on things so sliders are much more than protection for me.

I remember helping Marlin cut off an end from his Smittybuilt nerf bars and we inserted thick walled water pipe to strengthen em up

Thinking about them after my last trip, kinda bent my body seams along the bottom edge

From 3/7/2009 through 7/24/2010, when I took this trail:

No Sliders

It looked bad, but only kissed the seam a little and made about 1/8" bump.

Now that the truck has SAS, they get used quite a bit:

Ran with no sliders. After I took a few good hits to the cab, rocker, n bed this season I had to throw some on.
