Thought I'd kick off the new Poll section with an easy one!

I voted Hopefully -- because I'm not going snow wheeling unless I get my near decade-long on-board-air project finished :tantrum:

We are suposed to get 12" here in north central Montana the next couple days so that's a good start on winter.  The snomobile set gets exclusive access to what would probably be our best snow wheeling around here but I have a line on getting a gate unlocked in January for some virgin snow up one side of the mountains and down the other trail that they can't get on due to the gate. Other than that any lame logging road or farm road is good snow wheeling after it gets all drifted in.  We get a ton of blowing snow out here so you could get good wheeling spontaniously on the way to town. My personal favorite is when you get a blown in sidehill trail and you have to hook the high side bank and crab with plenty wheel speed when you break trail.

I have been without a decent big snow setup for several years, so as you can see I'm pretty pumped for the snow wheeling season this year...

My truck hasn't been in the snow since about 2008, I think before I had beadlocks :ack:

A lot of the gates in my area don't drop until march for anything other than snowmobiles. There are a few places though.

Tahoe and truckee are supposed to be getting snow the next 3 days in a row with a high of 32 degrees and a low if 1 degree! I think I'll be seeing my fair share. Going to fordyce next weekend for my first wheeling trip this winter. Should be fun.

Oh ya, this year is going to be awesome! I got my 42' Iroks, shortened a hard top for it and redid the suspension front and rear. My 4runner has been in a state of rebuilding for the last 3 years and this will be my first year wheelin' with my new turbo engine. It's almost time for a shake down run. Going to drive it to work for a couple of weeks just to make sure it's all good.
